How to reduce excessive impact alerts?

You may be getting a high number of impact alerts based on default settings, here's how to fix it.

Our default settings for impact thresholds are as follows:

Low: 2.0 g - 3.0 g

Medium: 3.0 g - 6.0 g

High: 6.0 g+

Based on your facility's terrain, your devices may be recording excessive low or medium impacts due vibrations from the floor / ground. If this is the case, we recommend changing to the following settings and then tuning the minimum and maximum threshold for the low impact settings.

Low: 3.0 g - 4.0 g

Medium: 4.0 g - 6.0 g

High: 6g+
